Emily Salzwedel
SUPPORTING TEAM: ELA (Educator and learner Assistance)

I’m the mom of 2 beautiful busy boys and the wife of a handsome active husband. I have a passion for helping people and consequently studied occupational therapy at Stellenbosch University. I have worked in various private practices with many beautiful children, helping them to overcome challenges and to be successful. I’m an academic at heart and have completed my masters in Occupation Therapy at Pretoria University. I had the privilege to step away from work and stay at home and raising my precious boys. This path brought me here to Melkbos Pre-Primary. I love being a part of the MPP team. I have the privilege of applying my knowledge and experience to best serve this school while having great fun.

Melissa Uys
SUPPORTING TEAM: Rainbow Class

We do it for them, the little boys and girls that grow up to be the future doctors, nurses, teachers and presidents. We do it to share and to partake in something bigger than ourselves. We do it because we believe in what we do, and what we do matters and has purpose.

Sharon Douglas-Henry
Office Administrator

I moved into the school front office in 2020 and it is the best place ever to work. I love interacting with children and assisting them, as well as parents and teachers across the age groups. I absolutely thrive on the buzz of energetic children, and happy people!

Joining the MPP was the best gift God could give me. I have grown so much as a mom, a woman, a sister, a friend, a colleague but most of all, in my job. Knowing I am going to see all the little faces is what gets me up in the morning and I am thankful for yet another day.
